Hannah Guth is an Associate with Testa & Pagnanelli, LLC, and has limited her practice to the exclusive representation of clients in family law matters, including custody, child support, divorce, protection from abuse, and spousal support.
Before attending law school, Hannah received her Master of Social Work from the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania, where she gained important knowledge and skills regarding childhood psychology and behavioral development, with children being her target population. Hannah became a licensed social worker in 2024 to ensure her continued commitment and education in children’s rights, and complex social and psychological concerns that come with practicing family law.
Hannah earned her Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law, where she was introduced to practice through her tenants’ rights advocacy work with the Fair Housing Rights Center in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Hannah is passionate and committed to providing pro bono legal services, and assisted Philadelphians with tangled title and estate planning issues during a year-long pro bono residency at the CLCP.
Subsequently, Hannah completed a judicial internship with the Honorable Tiffany Palmer, a Philadelphia Family Court Judge. Hannah spent many hours in the courtroom observing a variety of family law proceedings, wherein she gained invaluable firsthand insight into judicial decision making, child interviewing, custody determinations, expectations in the courtroom, and legal research.
Upon graduation, Hannah was selected for the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Eric Turner Award for academic excellence and commitment to the practice and development of family law.
Hannah is passionate about the psychological component of children and adolescents as it pertains to custody; therefore, she is a strong advocate in custody matters as she believes in merging childhood developmental psychology and law. Hannah’s unique background and education has provided her with the training necessary to interpret evaluations and reports conducted by forensic psychologists, who are commonly utilized as expert witnesses in complex custody matters. Through this, Hannah aims to mitigate the effects of conflict on children, and ease parents’ concerns throughout their dispute. Hannah prides herself on the connections she builds with clients, her empathetic approach, open-mindedness, and availability to clients.
Hannah is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and is a member of the Montgomery and Philadelphia County Bar Associations, and assists clients in Philadelphia, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
